Ghost Busters

Nightmare from beyond the Grave

Mr. Li and his younger brother are engaged in the business of investment, finance, and blockchain in Singapore. At its peak, the company employed more than 50 employees and had operations in more than 10 countries around the world. Mr. Li could not sleep well during the past few nights. As soon as he closed his eyes, he dreamed that he was in a dark place where no matter how loud he cried, no one would respond. When his heart was bursting with fear, the picture suddenly changed. He saw his father who had been dead for 3 years standing in front of him. His hands were bleeding, his hair was in a frenzy, and he was clutching his chest from time to time. He shouted, “A-Cai! A-Cai! My chest hurts! Help me~ I can’t breathe!” An inexplicable fear descended upon Mr. Li— he reached out to hold his father, and when he grasped his father’s hand, his father suddenly vanished without a trace right in front of him. In the dream, Mr. Li burst into tears and shouted and woke up from his dream. At first, Mr. Li thought that his dream was caused by his feelings of grief from missing his father, but the next night when he fell asleep, he had the exact same dream again. Once again, he was awakened by the dream and was convinced that his father must be in trouble in the afterlife, so Mr. Li came to seek the help of Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin, a renowed spiritual Master in Singapore.

When he arrived at the shop, he told Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin about his dream and asked Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin what happened to his father. Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin channeled his sight of the heavens ability and said to Mr. Li, “Your father was buried, wasn’t he? His grave was made of black marble. Your father liked growing a small beard and mustache and wear sleeveless shirts at home, right?” Mr. Li couldn’t help but admire Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin’s accurate and clear vision. “My father’s grave is exactly like the one described by Grandmaster Chew,” said Li, adding that the description of his father was also just like that before his death and the color and material of his father’s grave were exactly the same as what Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin described. Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin continued, “Your father’s soul is trapped in his grave and his soul is very miserable and helpless now. His soul is trapped in his grave with a Gong Tau curse and he can’t get out, so he has been visiting your dreams with the hope that you can help him.” I believe that your father’s grave was hexed by someone, and you need to go to his grave in order to help him lift the curse— otherwise it will affect your descendants. Having said this, Mr. Li stood up and said to Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin, “Grandmaster Chew, please help us to lift the curse off the Li family. I will give you the address of my father’s grave now.” Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin said, “Don’t give me the address of the grave yet— wait until you go to clear the curse and then tell us the address on that day. On that day, you will also need to put up a tent above the grave, because you can’t let the heavens see you when you dig a grave.”

When the day came to lift the curse, Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin arranged for his senior to invite the Nanhai Guanyin Bodhisattva to descend to help Mr. Li lift the curse. After praying to Nanhai Guanyin, he went directly to the head of the grave and used an iron shovel to start digging. Less than ten minutes later, he dug out a section of green bamboo from the soil. He signaled to his helper to bring an iron plate and put the green bamboo on the plate. He picked up a knife and split the green bamboo in half, and there were several embroidery needles and an iron nail inside. Once Mr. Li and several other witnesses were present, the Nanhai Guanyin turned to Mr. Li: and said, “Your father has been trapped in this grave with a cursed green bamboo that is done by a Mao shan master. The person who cursed his grave was very vicious— they wished for very bad things for your family so that things will not go well, your health will get worse and worse, and your descendants will suffer and may never even be born.” Upon hearing this, Mr. Li fell silent for a while, and then asked: “Who did this?” Nanhai Guanyin replied that she could not reveal who had cursed the grave because she was afraid of how Mr. Li would react, so she could only tell Mr. Li that it was done by someone that he knew and this person’s power of hex was very vicious indeed. You must find a banana tree and drive this coffin nail into the banana tree and then let that tree bear the consequences for you. After explaining that, he backed away.

Mr. Li followed the instructions of Nanhai Guanyin and found a banana tree to drive the iron nails into. The banana tree withered and died seven days later. Two months after the ritual, Mr. Li returned to the Ghostbuster shop again. He said that he had dreamed of his father again a few days ago. In this dream, his father waved to him and everything was very calm and peaceful. In addition, his business had slowly returned to its previous positive performance. Grandmaster Chew Hon Chin was very pleased by this and extends his best wishes to this client.
